Nantong Gangzha Shipping Manufacturing Co. Ltd. was founded in May.1992,on the permission of planned Economy Commission of the Nantong City, Gangzha district, by document 92(67). NGS is located in Gangzha developing zone, No.11 of Yangtze River Road(800 meters northern of Tongsha Freighter). NGS is integrated with shipbuilding, ship-mending and large-scale steel construction.To build special ocean engineering vessels as its main course,NGS is the leading enterprise built the most dredging engineering ships with the most complete specification.Now NGS has become the large scale domestic dredging vessels development and manufacturing base, commanded in the third place in the same filed.

    NGS has a history of shipbuilding and ship-mending for more than two decades. It has the ability to build 10000T cargo ships, container ships, tug boats and various kinds of barges and all-around hydraulic pressure engineering ships, the quality of which has been approved by NK, ABS, BV, LR, DNV, KR and CCS. The products of NGS have been exported to Japan, Singapore, Holland, Korea and etc. With complete ship manufacturing site and equipments, the old and new factories cover an total area of 200,000m³，occupying 600 meters of the Yangzi River shoreline.There’s a 135-meter outfitting quay with the lifting capacity of 80 tons.There’re a 2000t,5000t,and 3000t slipway each, six sets of subsection fabrication and platforms with the total lifting capacity of 1254 tons.The shipyard is equipped with a steel plate pretreatment workshop, subsection prefabricating workshop, subsection secondary treatment workshop, metal processing workshop, engine workshop, copper workshop, electric workshop and so on.
